i made the mistake of spending the afternoon watching The Piano Teacher. I picked it up merely because the blurb on the back included the phrase, “perhaps the best sex scene in the history of film.” and you know, i’m kind of a pervert. the movie was disturbing and i’ve spent the rest of the evening in a weird sort of funk trying to figure it all out.
