as i drove up the steep, snakey hill that is eden prarie road between 212 and pioneer trail, i noticed a man standing by the side of the road. i thought he was a surveyor, surveying the big site where they built the new lutheran church/compound. but as i drove closer i realized he wasn’t surveying at all, he was painting. he had an easel and a palette and everything. i just wanted to sit there and watch him all day long. sadly, i had to finish coming to work.
