The lazy reader takes pictures

When I’m in bed reading and a happen across something that resonates with me, I’m much too lazy to write it down and much to fastidious to write in a book. However, I do have Ziggy near by and often take a picture in hopes I’ll remember to do something with it at some point. I never have. Until now.

Probably the one line and scene I enjoyed the most in Freedom by Jonathan Franzen.

I liked Patti Smith’s idea of God and way of praying from Just Kids

From the otherwise disappointing, The Illumination by Kevin Brockmeier.

From The Tragedy of Arthur by Arthur Phillips.

From Swamplandia by Karen Russell.
