Well, it’s done. Gone. Over. Today they tore down Dan Patch Lanes. My dad sent the picture. I’m a little sad that I didn’t get to see it in person. Seeing the old building decimated has shaken me up much more then I thought it would. I really miss that place and the people that filled it.
I have to stop now or I’ll probably cry.

Awww … I knew it was closing, but I didn’t know they were tearing it down. How sad.
They are tearing it down to put up a parking lot. Seriously.
Shut up. At least they didn’t turn it into a dollar store or something. You can pretend like the parking lot is a giant Dan Patch burial plot. Or something.
You don’t really “put up” a parking lot, do you? I mean, they’re all pretty flat.
What you should do is, on occasion, take ten pins and a ball and go down there and bowl on the pavement. That would rock.
Dude, that pic almost made me cry. I’ve never been inside, but I feel like I know it–and its people–super well because of you. RIP, DPL.
UH is totally right.
That would make a statement AND be really fun.
