Okay, so that sucked. After waiting the longest 30 minutes to ever happen and then adding an additional 25 minutes just to make the wait extra excruciating, Sister #4 had to put little Murphy to sleep. It sucked. It super sucked. Being in the room and trying to say goodbye, it took all my energy not to start sobbing and making the huh-huh-huh noise that comes with the tears of great sadness.
The vet was nice, giving Sister #4 and I time to say our goodbyes. It was, however, oddly comforting to see how quickly the shot works.
And though I bitch about her a lot, as sisters often do, sometimes I don’t know where she finds the strength. She’s lost a fiance, and had to put two of her cats to sleep all within a year. Man, it just sucks.

It’s always so hard to make that kind of decision with a pet. 🙁 I’ve been there (recently) myself and it just sucks, for lack of a better word.
Awww, poor kitty. I’m really sorry for you and your sister. I’ll give my two cats extra love today in Murphy’s honor.
