first of all, i am still expecting flowers from you, and you know who you are so don’t even pretend. you can send them to me for monday. you knwo a sort of afterbirthday glow gift of sorts. do it, please.

it’s my “work” birthday today. at least that’s what they’re calling it. you should see this joint. flowers from webboy (orange alstromeria), graphicsboy (pink gerbera daisies), a boquet from jess and maria (in the raddest vase EVER), and a bunch of lilies from sister #4 (right on).

we went out to lunch at Bilimbi Bay or something like that and sat on the porch where i got a nice bit of sun making me glow like a thing that glows. while at lunch i ran into one of my bowlers, which made my favorite co-workers howl with laughter.

then we had a one o’clock meeting where they brought in turtle cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory. this stuff is so good that when i die, i want to come back as this cheesecake. i could weep. seriously. plus there was all kinds of fruit for breakfast and fun dip and dots and diet coke with lime.

i’m beginning to think these people really kind of like me.
