a wise friend of mine once told me that certain people were brought into your life to teach you about suffering. i think he might be right. but i also think there are people who come into your life to teach you about joy. and those are the people who call you up and leave messages on your voice mail, messages where they imitate the vocies of ferris bueller’s mom and and principal ed rooney. they leave these messages just because you are having a down in the dumps sort of day.

those people make my heart fill with so much i could burst. but instead i just cry.

in other news, the jeans i’m wearing are the smaller ones. i bought them awhile back and when i put them on one day they didn’t feel so comfortable, so i stopped wearing them. today, when i completely overslept i was in such a rush to get to work i didn’t even notice they were the small ones. right on.
