last night at the bowling alley craig’s kids sam and ellen were marching in around the entire bar shouting “halleluiah” over and over again.
today, i saw a little girl at tj maxx and more wearing a lavender velvet dress a size two small, opaque white tights, and GIANT red rubber rainboots.
can you hear that? that’s my biological clock.

Back pain sucks.
You don’t.
Operation done.
“Recovering too quickly.” (Doc says he wouldn’t believe I was the guy he worked on because 30 minutes after I got to my recovery room, I got up and went to the bathroom. Apparently, that’s not done.)
I sympathize, I do.
I know that’s easy to say when I already have kids, but…
…sometimes it’s sad to realize that I’m done, that I won’t be having any more. And they grow up so fast, and they are so wonderful, and I know that someday they will be busy with their own lives and they won’t really “need” me.
They will be all grown up, and they will have to go out of their way to see me, to talk to me, to hug me.
I just hope they will want to. 🙂
