crying over you

“so he told me i need to cry more or something,” he said.
“oh, i cry everyday,” i said.
“you do?”
“oh sure. if i miss a day, i cry because i forgot to cry the day before.”

I like the way that flows. Would you mind terribly if I used that in a story?

have your people call my people and i’m sure we can work out some sort of deal.

    of course i don’t mind.

I rarely cry. I don’t feel the NEED to cry. No tears of pain, no tears of joy. Even in frustration, I don’t cry. I use that energy to find an alternative solution, often fruitlessly, but I make the attempt nonetheless.

    I’m just not a cryer, I guess..

i think crying is good and cleanses the soul– that’s why i do it everyday. i must have a really dirty, dirty soul.

Jodi, it sounds like you have emotional OCD, constantly cleansing it over and over again.

By the way, what the hell is up with E.T. being the saddest movie ever? If ET, just for example, DIED at the end?; Sure, it’d be a sad movie. But he goes home. He frickin’ goes HOME! Elliot learns “a very special” lesson about friendship, and then moves on without having to hide his alien throughout his life. “Um fellow dorm roomies? Could you guys turn around for a second?”

A sad movie would be more along the lines of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Those poor Oompa Loompas, enslaved by Wonka, then given as a gift to Charlie; Only the gentle release of death will free them from the toil in the Sweatshop, er… Sweetshop. They didn’t even have female Oompa Loompas to comfort their mundane workaday existance.

the first time my boyfriend told me he loved me, he cried. i was so surprised. he said he cries pretty often. not a lot, just a tear or two. i love that about him.

    oompa-loompas hahaha

You remind me of this quote I used to treasure back in college:

“She said she usually cried at least once each day not because she was sad, but because the world was so beautiful & life was so short.”

    (Brian Andreas, Storypeople)

and personally, i find ET to be the scariest movie ever, and no one will convince me otherwise.

I’ve never even seen ET. Or titanic or forest gump, and just saw raiders of the lost ark for the first time this summer.

Ketut… I’m at a loss. I’m not a movie maven, but there are genres that call to my viewing soul… And yes, I sprung for the 4 disk DVD version of Lord of the Rings: The Fellowsip of the Ring. I’m a geek. Bite me.

Thomas: I am a complete LOTR geek too. I used to read the trilogy every year. I just don’t quite think I would like ET, Titanic or Forest Gump and having everyone (at the time) telling me how much they loved it, really turns me off.

Plus, if I saw Celine Dion hitchhiking I’d open the passenger door (while driving past) for that one insipid song alone.

I try to hold in crying. It becomes a pool in my heart, filling the emptiness inside. The emptiness runs so deep, that my tears may last forever, but i’m eternally empty until i can be with you Treg. I love you, i’m lifeless, worthless and careless without you. You changed my life, you made my life, you are my life. I miss you more than i believed i could, and i’m amazed how i love and miss you more as time holds us apart and brings us together someday in the future. Your girl,
    Jenny
