and we’re off to the races

last night i officially began christmas shopping. blah! so much to buy and so very little money. plus there’s always the fear of forgetting someone. why do the holidays have to be so damn stressful?

so far, all i’ve bought are books for people. think anyone will mind?

I hate the Christmas season all b/c I work in retail. I beg of you, please be kind to the people behind the counters. we take a lot of shit from people this time of year. and for god’s sake, don’t make big messes and leave them there. I stayed at work nearly 2 hours past closing Saturday night to pick up after all the slobs. I find myself being a lot nicer to people that work in retail and always picking up and straightening after myself now. I wish I didn’t hate this damn holiday so much.

I’ll settle for a Christmas card if you’ll put a racy picture of yourself on it.

    :^)

I made up my mind on Christmas gifts this year. I am going to be getting presents for all of my immediate family and friend but I am not going to be breaking the bank but aim to spend around $25 per person. Most of the people will be getting books, Movies, music and games that I like and think that they would enjoy as well. I think it is better to spend more mental time thinking of gifts than blowing a wad of cash on stuff. I am not going to a miser but I want to calibrate the holiday with out racking up a thousand bucks in credit card debt. I am still credit card debt free and I intend to stay that way. I can’t really mention what exactly I will be getting people due to the fact that they might read my site. But it is possible to get through the holidays with out raking up the debt.

Books are cool presents if you put a lot of thought into them. If they’re “Hey, this book of stuff that I know you’re not interested in was on the $2.99 rack at Borders” books, then you’re a naughty girl. If they’re weird, thoughtful books you think the person would really dig, then you’re a perfect gift-giving chick and should get yerself some hot chocolate.

You don’t need to buy stalkers gifts; We’ll simply swipe a pair of undergarments from your hamper for our shrines and sing christmas songs with your name replacing key words. (It’s beginning to look a lot like JODI… Everywhere you go…) (I’m dreaming of a white JODI.) (We wish you a Merry JODI…) (Jodi’s chest naked by an open fire. She is taking off my clothes.) etc.
