“you need to get the disco stu headphones like john and i,” i said.
“who’s disco stu,” todd asked
“he’s on the simpsons,” sonja said.
“i read on slashdot this morning that there’s gonna be a simpsons movie,” john said.
“you read slashdot?” i asked.
“yeah,” he said.
“that doesn’t surprise me, you strike me as a slashdot reader.”
“what’s slashdot?” sonja asked.
“it’s a blog type site,” john said.
“i’m more of a metafilter person,” i said.
“yeah,” john said, “i can see that.”

I have Disco Stu headphones!! They sound great, and totally block out the noise around me at work. I would recommend them to anyone (Ministry of Sound makes them, and I got them at buy.com). I can blast them as loud as I want, and no one can hear them but me… yummy, yummy Disco Stu Headphones, how I love them.

Did you know that Microsoft filters out Slashdot so you can not be at the Microsoft campus and check out Slashdot.

Now the sign of a true web-news-geek is to read Slashdot, metafilter, blogdex, and daypop religiously.
