on the first day of my mini-vacation i decided it would be a good idea to get up and go shopping. i wanted to hit the mall early before all the aimless teens with no summer jobs infested the place.
the good thing about going to the mall early on a weekday is that it’s virtually empty. the bad thing about to the mall early on weekday is that all the people there are either a FOPs* or Soccer Moms.
yeah.
regardless, i was in like flynn. dropped a $109.50 and out of there in no time flat. i got a bounty of stuff for a my $109.50, including:
5 pairs of new underpants (2 red, 1 black with embroidered flowers, 1 light blue gingham [oh-so-innocent-looking] and 1 pair of miami vice aqua)
2 bras (one sex in the city satiny pink with black lace, 1 sheer aqua number)
4 shirts (1 yellow t-shirt, 1 orange t-shirt, 1 red tank top and one rad orangey number with a lace up thing in front that will make my tatas look uber bodacious)
not too shabby, huh?
p.s. i don’t want to hear about how i already own too many bras
p.p.s. i don’t want to hear about how you hate when i talk about my underpants either
* FOPs= Fucking Old People (unPC, i know but it’s a hold out from my college days, usually only pertains to old people in giant cadillacs driving 35 in a 60)
On weekday mornings, my wife and I go walking at the MoA, so we have had plenty of experience with the FOPs. Half of them are so deaf that you can hear their yelled conversations halfway around the Mall. The others are so completely unaware that others are walking near them that they will make a right turn right into you and then get pissed that YOU ran into them.
Maybe my name will stick to this post this time. I wasn’t intending to leave anonymous posts previously…really, I wasn’t.

i got new underwear too! nothing shiny as no one will be looking at them but me, but i’m moving from plain white to white with delicate little flowers. seemed appropriate for summer, somehow. =)

Jodi, your tales of bras and panties have every male’s member turgid and tumescent in anticipation of possibly seeing the garments, and possibly the supple flesh beneath.
If they simply looked in “30 Things”, they would have a partial view of the lovely ampleness of your bosom. But no; They want to see it all. The only viable solution is to have me over this weekend and create some tasteful snapshots that would sate their base desires, yet be artistic enough for mass consumption.
I’d of course have to bring my wife to approve the wardrobe, or lack thereof.
i got new underpants too 😀 they’re blue boxers with clouds and rubberduckies on them.
whenever i feel sad, i just go to the bathroom and look at my boxers and they make me happy :-p
