since i thought my netflix movies weren’t going to arrive until monday i decided i was gonna go to the actual video store and rent some DVDs. but then i was at target and i saw that they had a high school reunion bundle containing “The Breakfast Club” and “Sixteen Candles.” like every good denizen of high school in the 80s i absolutely love those movies, and of course snapped them up.

imagine my surprise when i found my netflix movies in my mailbox. among the little red envelopes was “Romy and Michelle’s High School Reunion.” i had never seen this movie but the wondergeek was raving on and on about how much mindless fun it was. so i tossed it into the queue.

now i am declaring today high school flashback day. it seems very appropriate.
