i made it through the first DVD of the two DVD “Almost Famous Untitled Bootleg Director’s Cut.” it’s a lot of stuff. it’s funny because at work today when i was showing off the DVD the wondergeek said, “yeah, i have that and i can’t tell what was added.” clearly he has not seen the movie as many times as i have. there’s like added stuff in the first three minutes of the movie, and when he’s writing all that stuff at the beginning, he writes “Untitled” instead of “Almost Famous.” duh. then there’s the scene where she tells him that is Christmas and not Xmas (which i’ve always hated), and a shower scene, and so much stuff that’s all quite good, but i can see why it was cut.

tomorrow DVD 2. and then this weekend it’s a johnny depp double feature– “Benny and Joon” and “Don Juan DeMarco.” because i’ve never seen either of them and the wondergeek claims that i just have to.
