clearly the gods are a wee bit miffed at me for being such a whiny bitch yesterday morning.

last night ruby wouldn’t start. it could be one of many things: a dead battery, a bad starter, or a ruined alternator. i pray it’s merely a dead battery.

so yeah, not so great.

this morning as i am getting the cats some water, first thing when i got up, i step on a piece of something that makes blood spurt from my big toe. now there are bloody toe prints everywhere. i can’t tell if whatever it is i stepped on is still wedged in my toe or not. but it hurts like hell.

i wonder what’s next.
