the devil is in my pants

i’ve reached a whole new level of boredom, one i’ve never quite experienced before. what i don’t understand is why it’s so much more boring to lay about at someone else’s house? i can’t imagine i’d be doing any different at my place. but somehow it’s just way more boring here. maybe because at home, if i were to reach this level of boredom, i’d start some totally assinine project like alphabetizing my books or cleaning my closets. you know, one of those projects that are really fun for about 20 minutes, then you’re bored again or realize it’s going to be a whole lot more work than you anticipated, so you just sorta quit partway through.

i really need a new hobby that’s transportable, so i can bring it places. if i had any money, i’d go do something. sadly, i have none of that. at least dashboard confessionals is on the radio.

    you should take up knitting.

i’m serious. think of all the fantastic scarves you can have by the time it snows next! (which, in minnesota, could be next week. better get started now.)

Two words for you, young lady:

Or “PaPerback”. Either one works for me.
