Captured here in my quotation marks

Two quotes from the day. One came at Grumpy’s where three-fifths of the Chicken Fingers met to discuss a story I am wholly bored with. In fact, I admitted I’m bored with everything I write. Then I admitted how much I want to write a book about rock & roll but I’m scared.

“If it scares you, it’s probably the right thing to do,” Steve said.

Then I came home to Sister #2 quoting my niece in a tweet: “@jayciekitty “The adverb is the enemy of the verb.” @jodiwilldare will appreciate that too.”

Jaycie and I then went on to have a chat via Twitter about how lame adverbs are.

    Dear Jody,
You are one of those woman who are addicted to the world and what it has to offer. My suggestion is to cast your lot with the living God and see what happens. Fasten your safety belt because it’s a much wilder ride. You will go down roads never traveled and believe me he will not fail you. Sounds hokey? Try it and become a believer!

There area always people who try to go through life in the “modern age” on their own. It doesn’t work. Take it from one who has tried. Cast your lot with the GOD who created you. He has a plan for your life. You’ve heard it before: Let go and let God! Its true and it works. But you must divest yourself and turn your life over to HIM. If you knew what was going to happen, you’d probally get some help first. Go for it and become a front runner. He does not create losers. We become losers. He will boost you into the zenith so get ready for the ride of your life.
