and here we are again. coming into work on a daylight saving’s time Monday isn’t so bad, when your partner is here. i am still a little giddy with her extension. it makes me smile.
no what else makes me smile? when someone sends me an e-mail with information that just smacks of ‘i was thinking about you.’ and you know what makes me smile more than that. when someone plays a song on your voicemail, and it’s all crackly and staticy like they are holding the phone up to the speaker. it still makes me chuckle and that happened on friday, just when i needed it.

Oh. It sounds like you have quite the fan club. It is nice to have a song on a voicemail. Seroiusly, it’s easy to see that life is really made up of the little things. The small gestures that let one human connect to another.
