one trip to target, an rf modulator, and three goddamnits later, i have a DVD player that actually works with sister #4’s old hand-me-down tv. i feel so very modern.
we had an ancient tv like that too. we ran the stereo through dvd player, which ran through a converter into the vcr, which ran through one of those funky co-ax to antenna converters, which ran through something that made it switch sides. and then it worked.
two days after i finally got it all figured out and working without squiggly little lines, my girlfriend’s parents bought us a brand new 27″ tv with more inputs than i know what to do with.
