The sad part is I sorta got Stockholm Syndrome or something and kept dating the jerk *after* the creep moved out (or was kicked out, I think) and the jerk broke up with me before I got around to it.

There is so much of this that reminds me of #yesallwomen-able stuff I could share. Starting with “This is what it means to be a woman and a feminist and someone who has a hard time concentrating” and that’s probably why I won’t get around to it.

I never kept a weapon near my bed but I did keep dating a guy I should have broken up with because there was a creepy guy living near me who kept trying to talk to me. And like stand really close to me. And you know what? One day the guy said, “I ain’t gonna mess with you because I saw that boyfriend of yours”. I dated the jerk until the creep moved out.
