I was hoping that you’d make the connection. Do you know what Rush did when River died? He celebrated! When I read his remarks belatedly, I didn’t want to die. I wanted to kill.

It so happens that I sometimes agree with Rush’s opinions, but don’t listen to him regularly and have become much more wary. This is not a nice person. One need look no further than the little send-off he gave River for proof.

It’s strange to think back on how much things have changed over the past 26 years. One if the biggest leaps in human history.

It is also such a strange feeling to greive someone you’ve never met. Celebrity is a strange beast for all involved. I cried when I heard about Robin Williams, and Anthony Bourdain. I immediately felt strangely guilty, but I don’t think I should have. I often wonder how thongs would have turned out had we an ‘old man River’.

The way u described u seeing River in “Stand By Me” I felt the same way. Originally I watched it because I was crushing on Wil Wheaton especially from Star Trek I watched this movie the first time when I was 13 in Sept. 1993. When I saw River in it, I thought Wil who?! LOL! It’s like u see him and u hear that old love song in the background playing. : D I always think of what roles would he have done also such as Jack Dawson from Titanic or Jack Sparrow.
