I’m glad you liked it. I think the more unfamiliar you are with Sutcliffe’s story the better the book is for you. I’ve had friends who know all about it not as impressed by it as I was.

I just wanted to stop by and let you know that I bought and read this book based on what you wrote in your review. I finished it up this morning. Although I’d heard of Stuart Sutcliffe, I had no idea what happened to him after he left the Beatles. The last couple pages of the book shocked and saddened me. It was a good recommendation, though. Thanks.

The ads on the site are probably trying to tell me something. My skin does not deal well with dramatic weather changes. So everything above my nostrils is dry and flaky, everything below fifteen-year-old greasy. It’s a damn shame.

When I redesigned the site I pondered taking the damn ads off, but then I did some math and discovered they do, essentially pay for all my websites (hosting and domain registration), so that’s nice.

Anyway, the book was really good. I enjoyed it way more than I thought I would.

(I like what you’ve done with the site although I’m curious about the “anti-aging serum” you’ve got advertised over on the right. I guess I’ll click on it and find out more. I’ve been looking rough around the eyes lately.)
