@Suzy, Thanks for gushing! It’s nice to see that my book babble is actually helpful. I have to read “Pilgrims” by Julie Orringer for class this week. I can’t wait. It’s been ages since I’ve read her stories.

Miss Peregrines is a bit slow going right now, but I’m only 50 pages in. The pictures in the book are so creepy I keep waiting to get nightmares.

In fact, you are one of my best guides for reading new fiction. I come and check what you are reading as well as your reviews and then decide if I need to read that book. You are especially valuable to me for short stories – I tend not to read them, but I am making more of an effort. You recommended Julie Orringer and I loved her stories and novels. Now I am going to try Orientation. And I am awaiting your review of Miss Peregrines… – seems a bit creepy to me, so I am interested in your thoughts.
