I kicked off the season with homemade beef & barley soup. There’s a bunch in the freezer for the future. I love soup & chili season.

It was delicious. I couldn’t really taste the chips, which surprised me. I made Mexican meatballs once with tortilla chips as a binder and all I could taste was tortillas. The glaze was a little sweeter than I intended, but still good.
