Seriously?! What the shit? How did this get past editors and make it to a printing press? I feel like this should be in the same category with that other book--I've managed to block the title from my memory after I had to read it for a Recent Popular Literature class, but it was made into a movie and all I can remember is, "You is smart, you is important." It felt like white people patting themselves on the back for having some kind of special insight. This book sounds like it will make all of the suburban book club rounds, too. Barfbarfbarf. Thanks for the warning.
