Ugh. That blows. I think since I’m so tall I’m pretty sensitive to people who are outside the bounds of average height. I had a very dear friend in college who was 4’11”. It served her well having a 6’5″ friend, because we smuggled her into bars when she was underage all the damn time.

I’m 4′ 11″ and it never fails that I get stuck behind the tallest person in the building at every concert I’ve ever attended. (And I’ve never even been to a GA show.) However, I have never bitched at them to sit down so I can see. I might curse them under my breath, but they paid just as much to see the show as I did. I don’t get extra privileges just for being short.

It would be nice though if everyone pushing six feet would stop busting a gut laughing at my height as if I chose to never break the 60-inch mark. It gets really fucking old after a few decades.
