Girl Walks into a Bar, might be one of those books that sounds better than it reads, especially if Dratch reads it. She has a tendency for run-ons and fragments which drove my internal editor nutso, but if you’re listening to it they probably sound okay to your ear.

I have fallen off the short story bandwagon this year. i think the only collection I finished was the Junot Diaz one. I will add Binocular Vision to my list for 2013.

Now, I have one for you – my sister raved about a book of short stories called: Binocular Vision by Edith Perlman. Ever heard of it? Any thoughts? I won’t get it till Xmas, so can’t give my own opinion till next year.
