@Lori, That Elizabeth McCracken book, An Exact Replica of a Figment of My Imagination, devastated me. I read it in one afternoon not even stopping to eat or, I think, breathe. She is one of my favorite writers.

If it makes you feel any better I start a lot of books that I never finish. Maybe I need someone to pick them out for me.

It feels a little funny, but I absolutely love the collection so far. Her writing style is completely engaging. I’m going to get Use Me after this. [For the record, I can still vaguely remember a time when I chose my own books, but I much prefer to defer to you. It saves me from starting things I’ll never finish.]
