Wait. Is not the utter lack of self-awareness not only the nature of social media but its primary appeal? I’ve thought it’s only because people have no idea how they’re perceived that they feel comfortable sharing anything.

And come on: that one Dr. Seuss quote was kind of funny.

In reply to Precious Flower. @Precious Flower, If you're content with being the one who rants about politics, then don't change. Personally, I'd love to have that label. This is more a warning for the people that don't like how they're being perceived or are shocked by other's perceptions of them. If you (and I mean you in the general sense and not you, Precious Flower, specifically) don't care or don't mind, then keep on with your bad self and ignore the others.

What about political rants? What do people think of someone who constantly rants about politics and humanitarian issues?

Should I be mixing it up you think? If I mixed it up now, it might scare and confuse some people! Is it too late?

Good post and awesome point! I’m sure everyone who’s read this has someone in mind (if not themselves) who’s guilty of this in some of the worst ways.
