Talk about maudlin drama – it was almost like those Spanish soaps, in English! Love the part at the end, where our “world-wise” cast of characters decide they’re too tired or busy to go back to their favorite bar… “Ah, to be 22 again, now that we’re mature 24 year olds…” (Wistful smiles…)

There are quite a few 80s movies that I’ve rewatched as an adult and found very amusing. Everything made sense when I first watched it. It was all so believable and romantic.
