I lost the record when we moved house when i was about 21. I found this blog by accident while searching for the track list of the album.
I just downloaded every song in Spotify so now I have all 24 songs on a playlist called Looney Tunes.
I’m so excited! Brings back so many memories.

Actually, the Rivingtons did it first. Their songs, Papa-Oom-Mow-Mow and The Bird’s the Word were combined into one and made famous by the Trashmen.

@Barrett Chase, the version of the song on “Looney Tunes” was, in fact, “The Bird is the Word” by the Rivingtons. “Surfin’ Bird” was a mash-up of two Rivingtons songs, “The Bird is the Word” and “Papa Ooh Mow Mow”.
