I love this line - "stop making it emasculating for men to take an active role in their kids? lives." Amen. I have seen women go up to a man they don't know who is out with his kids and congratulate him for being with his kids. HUH? I always stop those women and ask if they say the same thing to a woman alone with her kids. No is always the answer and it pisses me off, so I go off on a little rant about how men should be taking an active role with their kids and it shouldn't be congratulated that they're alone with their kids in a Target.

Another thing, I heard the song Wonderful Tonight on the way to work this morning, and yelled at my teenage self for liking that song. He feels wonderful because everyone thinks his woman is hot, and then he gets drunk and she has to take him home and put him to bed, and as he's turning out the lights he tells her she was wonderful tonight? Wonderful for being beautiful and liking his drunk, lazy ass? Ugh.
