She claimed she loved Superfudge the best. But everything she remembered and thought was in the second book was actually from Tales.

I don’t remember much about Superfudge at all except that they move somewhere. Funny too, because I’ve toted around the same copy of Superfudge (sans cover) since I was 10.

I re-read Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing a couple of years ago and found I remebered nearly all of it; the turtle, the juice, the bird/jungle gym accident, even the small moments like the slurping you mentioned. I think Superfudge is usually considered the better book but I don’t think it had the same impact on me. Honestly all I remember is Uncle Feather.
