The shame should not come from looking something up (to the extent that doing so holds that association--I&#039;m not saying that&#039;s at all an implication one should draw from your post; I&#039;m using that as the springboard for this new topic where we presume, for the sake of argument, that we&#039;re supposed to feel like we should just know all these words); the shame comes from not looking up words even when we think we know them.
