I’m lucky, I was blessed (?) with a very lot of hair. My hairdresser and I often fight over the bigness of my hair. She, of the fine hair, seems to think that just because one has hair that can so easily be big, they should have big hair.

I disagree.

Anyway, that kind of 80’s hair took a lot of work and it sucked. But at least if I went through the effort you could tell. I’d have probably transferred to the Catholic school if it went flat by the time I got off the bus.

Mine wouldn’t poof in any way. I tried perms, I tried a paste of Salon Selectives and a curling iron. I could get a thin wips of bang to jut like a sad little wing, and this would fall as soon as I got off the bus.

I would have been classified as one of those straight-haired Jesus freaks who couldn’t watch MTV, which I guess is half true.
