I went to the beach this week with some friends from my grad school days, and we came to the conclusion that everyone we knew (male and female alike) who lived in Boston at that time had a huge crush on Juliana Hatfield. I am also looking forward to the memoir.

Thanks for linking to the Dicky Barrett “Why Obama” series, there are many more to come, even a couple of “Why McCain” missives (even though writers and musicians haven’t been filling my e-mail box with those).

I watched it off and on last season, so I have some catching up to do. Now I know what I’ll do with all my free time this week!

i just finished watching season one of ‘mad men’ tonight. i’m glad i didn’t have to wait for weekly episodes — it was so delightfully awesome and awful at the same time.

i don’t know how i’ll survive season two.
