Any theories as to why the Man Without Ties board is so rigidly opposed to posting & discussing Laurie Lindeen’s lousy book reviews?
Sounds like Kathy, the MWT Webmaster, is Lindeen’s press agent & can’t handle the truth.
Perhaps Kathy should work for the Bush administration instead.

That Times review was surprisingly not deleted from MWT, but rather countered by the Webmaster with a rather glowing review by “writer, musician and songwriter” Chrissie Dickinson; interstingly, the normally exhaustive All Music Guide has no mention of a Chrissie Dickinson.

Man Without Ties has posted the Los Angeles Times review of Petal Pusher & I say it’s “high time.” Erika Schickel pulls no punches & I’m glad for it, as Petal Pusher is a lamentably weak read. I want my money back.

Jodi I agree. Also,The Los Angeles Times is the big league & a scathing review carries weight. Is the review posted on the MWT message board yet? I don’t see it & it came out July1st.

Nah, but I did check it out here. And she's kind of right on about most of it. She just said it snarkier than I did. Also, the abortion scene is written in second person and not third like Schickel said.
