					<description><![CDATA[For me this is all fascinating.  I come from a place (Sydney) where if it gets below zero celcius in the winter all our toes curl up.  I saw snow once, but I had to drive 6 and a half hours in the dead of winter to see it.  The idea of having a snow day is so foreign, but having said that we DO call off school etc. if the temps go above 45 degrees C (which I think is around 113) in the summer.]]></description>

					<description><![CDATA[Today our school had a delayed start schedule, but the district website said it was a regular day.  So since my husband had to snow plow the driveway and had a late start, he drove our girls and two neighbor girls to school, only to find it empty.

After an hour spent at the local coffee house buying ice cream for four kids, he just now got to work.  Needless to say, he was steamed a little.  He wanted to get double espressos for each kid so they would be incredibly wired at school.  But that might stunt their growth.]]></description>
