You are a cat lady at six, but you don’t achieve the honorific “crazy” until you hit thirteen. This is what my mother told me when she got #13. These figures can be modified down if your apartment is sufficiently small; for example, a one room efficiency only allows for three cats before you are classified as crazy.

I have six indoor and two outdoor cats. I am fortunate that there is no such thing as a “crazy cat man.” People in my class are just called “pathetic.”
