I was in Chicago and missed this whole thing. I wanted to be the one to post the answer. It’s the guy from JMC, as Kelly said, and the girl from Mazzy Star, as you guessed. They had a thing for a while when MS toured with JMC. It was awesome to see them sing this live. It’s a great song. Sadly, their love didn’t last nearly as long as the tour if I remember correctly.
