Before Sunset, as well as its predecessor, were gems of films. They proved, or perhaps reminded us, that conversation can be stimulating, that appeal is about more than boobs and one night stands.

i didn’t see the first movie, but as much as i liked this film, i don’t feel particularly compelled to go learn the backstory. in fact, it’s probably best i don’t and let my mind accept this story as is.

ironically, i ended up getting this movie because they were out of “the clearing”. i’m glad that happened.

It’s the process of watching an engaging conversation. It’s nice for the two involved, but since I have no input, I’m rather bored by it.

Also. They didn’t have sex.
