Tom Robbins has always been one of those authors that are highly thought of in some circles, but I just couldn't get him to work in mine. Everyone was still hung up on Ginsberg and Kerouac when I was reading and enjoying Robbins. Skinny Legs was a fine novel, I'll say that. Had the opportunity to sort of 'camp out' near his place once hoping to catch a glimpse of him. A Girl talked me into it. I liked her, what can I say? Still Life is an excellent one as well...still trying to figure out the importance (if any) of Drew Barrymore (isn't she DREAMY?) reading Still Life @ the cafe in 50 First Dates. any clues???
