We have a sea monkey container in our kitchen right now, only it's a bright lime green instead of the blue that Max received. Our sea monkeys have hatched, they're so small at first, you don't think they're there, but they are. Unfortunately as they grow big enough to see, they are NOT wearing the bucaneer outfits as represented on the box. That was truly disappointing. My daughter was surprised at the occasional pairing of two monkeys stuck together, we had to explain "mating". (maybe they were just trying to eat each other, but that would have been hard for her to digest!!!)
