Since you disregarded my advice and named your computer after a dirty, nasty, violent little railroad hub in Utah, your home network will now become a seedy, horrid, filthy, murder-ridden vermin-infested hellhole.

Don’t say I didn’t try to warn you.

Don’t worry too much about Ogden. Jodi still loves you, even at first it might look like you are being replaced. I assure you, it’s perfectly normal to mature and, yes, let’s admit it, grow slower with age.

Your real job is to teach this young pup everything you know. Talk to him. Show him the ropes. You’re a role model now, and if you don’t teach him just how to take care of Jodi properly, nobody will.

I know I wouldn’t be the great little laptop I am today without the help of a lot of old crappy computers that have since given up the ghost. But I like to think they’re somewhere better now . . resting peacefully in front of that giant cooling fan in the sky. Well, not all of them. Some are just down in Florida, playing two-dimensional pong or whatever it is old computers do when they retire.
