I've been reading your diary for so long now I can't remember how long except to say I found you while trying to tell someone how f'n cool Paul Westerberg is by showing them his lyrics and your site came up. The only song on the soundtrack of my life would be "Achin' to Be" and I know you know just who did that song. I dig your site, I especially like..well I like everything about it. But a fellow Paul lover is hard not to find interest in eh? I linked my biggest entry about Paul above. I know this other girl online that interviewed him....if you're interested in knowing about her....

Quadrophenia by The Who. The original double album....

As an army jacketed, hair always in my eyes teenage boy addled by cheap speed, angst, cigarettes and perpetual heartbreak it was just too perfect. And it sounds better on rainy days.

Oddly enough, the longer I thought about this, the more one song kept coming to mind.

Are you ready for this?

"Waiting for Somebody" - St. Paul. I spent most of my teen/young adult years waiting for my knight in shining armor to come around and writng dreadful poetry about him. Shame I didn't hear it until after he had left my life. Originally I would have said "Waiting On A Friend" by the Stones, but Westerberg has better lyrics.

Of course, number two would be "I Believe" by R.E.M. because I believe in coyotes and time as an abstract. *grin*

After that I have no idea - but that might be an interesting project for this weekend.
