Its easiest but you could use SSI includes too ( here’s a tutorial).

I don’t remember having a problem converting entries. I would assume that you change the file extension in the MT control panel and rebuild, but I can’t remember at the moment.

Also on ScriptyGoddess there’s a mention of the plug in MTOtherBlog (here).

OR!! You could parse php as html. I think all that takes is an htaccess file…. and might be the easiest of the non-conversion options. I’d have to double check how to go about that. You could ask your webhost too.

OR!! In the Scripty comments, there’s a mention of making a new category and a plug in.
