Ah, frig, eh? You just gotta love those moments. I was in the pharmacy today, and one of the cashiers came down the aisle where one of her co-workers was taking inventory. She was all, "Hey Grumpy." And this went on for about ten seconds. "Grumpers. Mr. Grumpy Poo. Grumpity Doo Da. Grumper Thumper. Who's a grumpy boy......." It was past the point where she knew damn well this hadn't been the right approach because said Grumpy Frumpy was just staring ahead in that way that we allow ourselves once every six months in front of co-workers, like we've saved up for the day when we can actually be ourselves? Only she kept going because she clearly needed things to end well, when I probably just would've said, "Ah, feck it," which actually is the correct response because it cuts to the chase. She wasn't having it though. She went the sensitive route. "You wanna talk about it? We all have bad days. You take all the time you need. I'm here for ya......." Finally she walked away and I looked down the aisle at this guy and he looked like he was just about ready to break something.

People, eh? Can't live with 'em..... ;)
