I know that’s easy to say when I already have kids, but…

…sometimes it’s sad to realize that I’m done, that I won’t be having any more. And they grow up so fast, and they are so wonderful, and I know that someday they will be busy with their own lives and they won’t really “need” me.

They will be all grown up, and they will have to go out of their way to see me, to talk to me, to hug me.

I just hope they will want to. 🙂

“Recovering too quickly.” (Doc says he wouldn’t believe I was the guy he worked on because 30 minutes after I got to my recovery room, I got up and went to the bathroom. Apparently, that’s not done.)
