That song is very, very, uber depressing. I rememer being 5 and thinking that the song was a downer. Now I think it’s a about a stalker; It might as well begin, “I broke into her house when she left for work and found her diary underneath the floor-boards where she hid it…”

It’s almost as disturbing as the song “Ain’t too proud to beg”; “You say you wanna leave me, but I refuse to let you go…” Big red alarm bells ringing when I hear THAT line.

And don’t get me started about The Police’s “Every breath you take” (Sting himself even admitted that it’s about an “unhealthy obsession with another person”.)
