A few words of explanation:

I couldn’t help but notice that this song is painstakingly abstract. The handful of nouns -“babe”, “baby”, “world”, “sun”, and arguably, “things”, are all used in a metaphorical sense; any reference to the concrete world is completely illusory. The singer implies he lives in a place where the sun has the quality of “warmth”, which could just as easily place him on the north pole of Mercury.

What’s more, if the “world stands still” when he’s with this “babe”, the singer would best be advised to part ways. The rotation of the earth is essential to the existence of the magnetic field, without which both he and “babe” would be in a complete world of hurt.

Kant says that we project the order of our minds onto the chaotic world, but the world the artist promises, his vague object (gender isn’t even identified, or species, for that matter), sounds wildly chaotic of itself with its near-complete lack of concrete material identifiers. Kant would doubtless find the singer to be, by this definition, insane.
